On May 20, 2025, the on-site observation meeting for the Key Science and Technology Project of Henan Province, "Technological Innovation and Integrated Application for Disaster Response in Wheat and Corn under Abnormal Weather by Integrating Multi-source Data", was successfully held in Luoyang. As a sub-task undertaking unit, Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery Co., Ltd. showcased its project achievement, the "Mobile Rapid Dehumidifier for Wheat Grains", at the meeting, winning unanimous praise from attending experts. Led by Professor Yang Qinghua from Henan Agricultural University as the chief expert, the project is jointly undertaken by scientific research institutions and enterprises, including Henan Agricultural University, Henan Institute of Meteorological Sciences, Henan University of Science and Technology, Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery Co., Ltd., and Zhengzhou Zheng's Chemical Products Co., Ltd. Focusing on meteorological disasters such as harvest-time rainstorms, late spring cold snaps, high-temperature droughts, and waterlogging with overcast skies during the growth of wheat and corn, the project aims to: Construct a monitoring and early warning system; Analyze disaster-causing mechanisms; Develop disaster prevention/mitigation technologies and products; Innovate emergency loss-reduction equipment. It establishes a technical system integrating "information, technology, products, and equipment" and spanning "pre-production, in-production, and post-production" stages for "disaster prevention, resistance, mitigation, and relief," ensuring disaster resilience during calamities and yield improvement in normal years. As the undertaking unit for the sub-task "R&D of Rapid Dehumidification Equipment for Wheat and Corn Grains", Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery Co., Ltd. developed rapid dehumidification and quality-preserving disaster relief equipment for wheat and corn grains under abnormal weather. The "Mobile Rapid Dehumidifier for Wheat Grains" displayed at the meeting represents the company’s latest technological achievement, featuring: A breakthrough in traditional grain drying processes and structural designs, enabling rapid dehumidification and quality preservation of grains during rainy harvest seasons to reduce mildew losses; A mobile design for quick on-site operations under adverse weather, suitable for rural households and planting cooperatives in Henan to handle rapid grain dehumidification during disasters. At the meeting, the company’s representatives reported the equipment’s technical performance and operation costs to experts and leaders from the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Henan Provincial Department of Agriculture. The achievements were highly affirmed, with suggestions for optimization. Leaders urged the company to refine the product for market launch, aiming to: Ensure full grain harvests during disasters; Fulfill the responsibility of "storing grain through technology" with new-type productive forces; Implement the principle that "the Chinese people must always hold their food security firmly in their own hands."

From June 9th to 10th, the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration convened the Second Science-Enterprise Exchange and Promotion Conference on the Integrated Application Demonstration of Green Grain Storage Technology in Guangzhou.  Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery Co., Ltd. participated in the observation meeting display and related exchange activities. On the morning of June 9th, participants went to the Dongguan Direct Warehouse of the Guangdong Provincial Grain Reserve Management Group Co., Ltd. to participate in the on-site observation of the display and application of new green grain storage technologies and equipment. As the only grain drying equipment enterprise, Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery Co., Ltd. carried out new technology displays at the event site. The environmentally friendly, low-carbon, and quality-preserving grain dryers displayed by Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery attracted many participating representatives to consult and exchange. On the afternoon of June 9th and June 10th, green grain storage technology reports and technical presentations were held in Guangzhou. Experts and scholars from institutions such as the Academy of Sciences of the National Food Administration, Henan University of Technology, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, and the China Grain Reserves System gave presentations and interpretations on the current status and development direction of green grain storage technology, as well as the application of new technologies in practice.

       Since May 25th, continuous overcast and rainy weather has occurred in Henan Province, leading to waterlogging in some areas of the province's wheat fields. Wheat has been affectedby disasters such as blackening and sprouting, seriously affecting wheat yield and quality, and causing varying degrees of economic losses to farmers in various regions.        In the face of the disaster, the urgent task is to seize the opportunity to harvest and  quickly dry the damp grain, in order to minimize losses. As a well-known domestic grain dryer manufacturer with 25 years of experience, ZhengzhouWangu bravely took responsibility to disasters. The company actively responded to the government's call,leveraged its own advantages, and actively communicated with the Henan branch of China Grain Storage Corporation to quickly establish a leading group for grain drying guarantee work. The chairman of the board, Lu Xuezhong, personally led the team, and dispatched elite personnel from the engineering and production departments to set up four guarantee work teams to go to Shangqiu, Nanyang, Zhoukou, Luoyang, and Pingdingshan .On site equipment maintenance and debugging were carried out for the grain drying machines of the grain storage systems in Luohe and other cities, striving to ensure that all repairs and inspections should be carried out to ensure the normal operation of the grain drying machines and fulfill their responsibilities for this grain drying.       Zhengzhou Wangu Company played an important and positive role in the drying of grain  in Henan during the flood in July 2021. This year, Henan suffered the most severe "rotten rain" in more than a decade, posing a major threat to food security. Zhengzhou Wangu once again rushed to the front line without hesitation.
