The 5HSN series mixed flow grain dryer is an industrial-grade low-temperature continuous drying equipment independently developed by Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery Co., Ltd. It is specially designed for large, medium and small grain depots, grain processing plants, agricultural cooperatives and large-scale planting bases. It is suitable for drying corn, rice, wheat, soybean, sorghum, rapeseed, miscellaneous grains and various crop seeds. After drying, the grain features uniform moisture, low breakage rate and complete grain shape, fully meeting the standards for long-term storage, grain processing and seed preservation.
Adopting a vertical tower structure, the equipment integrates a mixed-flow drying section, large-capacity tempering section, counter-flow cooling section and intelligent grain discharging system, equipped with a PLC intelligent control system and online moisture monitoring device. Adopting a low-temperature mixed-flow drying process, multi-angle hot air penetrates the grain layer with sufficient tempering time, effectively avoiding grain cracking, surface hardening and uneven internal and external moisture, suitable for both large-scale commercial grain drying and low-temperature seed drying.
Wet grain is transported by a bucket elevator to the top distributor for uniform feeding. The grain flows downwards uniformly by gravity, and multi-angle hot air continuously penetrates the grain layer to remove moisture. The system automatically adjusts air temperature, air volume and grain discharging speed according to real-time grain moisture and ambient temperature, realizing 24-hour continuous, stable and automatic drying.
Drying Process
The equipment adopts an advanced mixed-flow low-temperature drying process: Mixed-flow dehydration → Layered tempering & moisture balancing → Deep drying → Counter-flow low-temperature cooling.
In the mixed-flow section, the grain is heated by multi-angle hot air at low temperature to remove surface moisture without thermal shock or cracking. In the tempering section, internal moisture fully migrates outward to balance the moisture gradient. Finally, deep dehydration and cooling are completed in the counter-flow cooling section. The outlet grain temperature is close to ambient temperature and can be stored directly.
The whole process realizes no over-drying, no adhesion, low breakage and high vitality retention, suitable for newly harvested high-moisture grain, old grain and seeds.
