Wangu concurrent‑counter flow grain dryer tower is a large‑scale continuous complete grain drying system, adopting combined concurrent‑flow drying and counter‑flow cooling technology. The tower is assembled with steel structure, consisting of top grain storage section, multi‑stage drying sections, multi‑stage tempering sections, counter‑flow cooling section, variable‑frequency grain discharging mechanism, hot air supply system, moisture exhaust system and PLC intelligent control system. Wet grain flows downwards by gravity. The whole unit can be installed outdoors without complicated civil construction. Drying Process (Concurrent‑Counter Flow Technology)
Core process: Concurrent‑flow drying → Multi‑stage tempering → Counter‑flow cooling
1. Feeding & Grain Storage: Wet grain is lifted to the top storage section. Level sensors automatically control feeding to maintain stable grain level inside the tower.
2. Concurrent‑flow Drying Section: Grain and high‑temperature hot air flow downwards in the same direction. Hot air penetrates grain layers and quickly removes surface free moisture for high dehydration efficiency. High‑moisture grain contacts hot air without scorching or grain damage.
3. Multi‑stage Tempering Section: Grain stays in tempering zones without heating. Internal moisture migrates to grain surface to balance temperature and moisture inside and outside kernels, reducing drying stress and greatly lowering crack and breakage rate. Alternating drying‑tempering cycles achieve deep moisture removal.
4. Counter‑flow Cooling Section: Dried grain moves down to cooling section. Cold air flows upward against grain flow to cool and equalize grain moisture. Outlet grain temperature is close to ambient temperature, preventing moisture reversion and mildew of hot grain after silo storage.
5. Variable‑frequency Discharging: Variable‑frequency discharging mechanism adjusts grain falling speed and drying duration. Finished grain is discharged from bottom to complete the continuous drying cycle.
