Product Introduction

   Model 5HSQ series low-temperature circulating grain drying tower is an intelligent circulating drying equipment developed by Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery Co., Ltd. for small and medium-sized grain purchasing stations, family farms, agricultural cooperatives and small & medium grain depots. Designed for dewatering of newly harvested high-moisture wet grain and high-impurity fresh grain, it can process paddy, corn, wheat, soybean, sorghum, rapeseed and various crop seeds. Adopting circulating drying technology, the grain undergoes multiple tempering and dewatering cycles. After drying, the grain features stable moisture and intact grains, fully meeting quality standards for farm grain storage, commercial grain sales, seed preservation and long-term warehousing.

   The machine adopts a vertical compact tower structure, integrating 2 drying sections, 2 tempering sections and 1 cooling section. All processes are coordinated by an intelligent control system. It applies low-temperature circulating thin-layer drying technology. Hot air penetrates evenly through thin grain layers for repeated circulating dewatering, avoiding grain shelling, trapped internal moisture, cracking, breakage and discoloration caused by high-temperature drying. Suitable for both commercial grain and seed grain, it delivers low grain loss and excellent grain vitality, making it the main model for small & medium-scale grain drying.

   The whole machine operates automatically in circulation. Grain is lifted to the top of the tower by a bucket elevator. An intelligent level sensor system realizes automatic feeding, automatic grain distribution, circulating drying, automatic cooling and quantitative discharging. Equipped with a real-time online moisture monitoring module, it automatically adjusts drying temperature and grain discharge speed according to initial grain moisture and ambient temperature to lock target moisture precisely, preventing uneven moisture and over-drying loss. The equipment supports all-weather continuous operation. The whole tower is designed with windproof, rainproof and anti-corrosion treatment, allowing outdoor placement without factory buildings, suitable for complex outdoor working conditions in rural areas. Compared with traditional small simple dryers, Model 5HSQ series features higher drying quality, lower energy consumption, stronger automation and less grain loss with outstanding cost performance.

Drying Technology

   This machine adopts low-temperature circulating thin-layer drying technology. Different from large continuous drying equipment, it is more suitable for small & medium tonnage, high-frequency and multi-batch drying requirements. The tower is equipped with an optimized air distribution structure. Hot air penetrates thin grain layers to wrap grains evenly for mild dewatering, paired with repeated circulating tempering processes to improve drying quality significantly.

   During operation, grain flows downward by gravity. Grain failing to reach the target moisture after one drying cycle will automatically recirculate for re-drying, while qualified grain enters the cooling section. Stable low-temperature constant drying avoids thermal shock damage to grains. Independent tempering procedures are arranged after each drying cycle to balance surface and internal grain moisture and eliminate moisture gradient difference, fundamentally reducing grain cracking and breakage.

   Finally, grain is cooled by ambient air in counter flow. The temperature of discharged grain is no more than 8℃ above ambient temperature. Cooling is uniform without residual heat rewetting. The grain can be directly bagged, warehoused or stored without secondary sunning. The integrated process of low-temperature drying, tempering, circulation and cooling retains the original grain color, germ vitality and commercial value to the maximum extent, and will not affect the germination rate of seed grain.

Structure Composition

1. High-strength tower body: Made of thickened anti-corrosion stamped steel for stable structure, deformation resistance and wear resistance. Thermal insulation layers are installed on the tower body and hot air pipes to lock heat and reduce energy loss. The whole machine is windproof, rainproof, rust-resistant and aging-resistant, and can be installed outdoors directly without supporting factory buildings, greatly cutting infrastructure costs.

2. Balanced air distribution heat exchange system: Optimized air distribution structure inside the tower ensures uniform thin-layer air supply without drying dead corners. Grains are heated and dewatered in all directions to guarantee consistent grain moisture in each batch.

3. Automatic grain lifting mechanism: Matched with a special bucket elevator with stable operation, no grain spilling or breakage. Interlocked with level sensors to realize fully automatic continuous feeding, material shortage alarm and full-material shutdown.

4. Uniform grain distribution system: Intelligent grain leveling device at the tower top automatically spreads grain layers to avoid local material accumulation and uneven thickness and ensure stable drying performance.

5. Low-temperature drying heat exchange zone: Core circulating drying section. Low-temperature thin-layer hot air penetrates grain layers to remove internal grain moisture at a constant speed for mild dewatering without damaging grain quality.

6. Multiple tempering balance sections: Independent tempering zones enable full migration and balance of internal grain moisture, solving the problem of dry shell with wet core, improving drying uniformity and reducing grain breakage rate.

7. Ambient air cooling system: Adopts counter-flow cooling with ambient air to quickly remove grain heat. The discharged grain meets temperature standards for long-term storage directly.

8. Variable-speed grain discharge mechanism: Equipped with adjustable grain discharge system to precisely control drying duration and discharge speed, adapting to drying requirements of different grain types and different moisture contents.

9. Multi-source heating system: Optional hot air furnaces for biomass, coal, natural gas and electric heating, compatible with local environmental policies and energy conditions to reduce operating costs.
