    The WGH counter-current & concurrent-flow grain dryer is a large-scale continuous grain drying equipment independently developed by Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery Co., Ltd. It is designed for national grain reserve depots, grain planting cooperatives, grain and oil processing plants, and grain trading & logistics enterprises. The equipment continuously dehydrates high-moisture raw grains such as corn, paddy, wheat, soybeans, sorghum and rapeseed, stably reducing grain moisture to the safe storage standard and effectively lowering losses caused by grain mildew and germination. Adopting an alternating concurrent-flow and counter-current vertical drying process, grains flow downwards by gravity. Combined with intelligent temperature control and variable-frequency grain discharge regulation systems, it supports uninterrupted large-capacity continuous drying and serves as the preferred drying equipment for large-scale grain processing and reserve projects.

    The dryer consists of multi-stage concurrent-flow drying zones, counter-current drying zones, multiple tempering sections and cooling zones. The concurrent-flow section uses high-temperature hot air to rapidly remove surface moisture, while the counter-current section achieves mild heat exchange. Together with tempering processes that balance the moisture gradient inside and outside grain kernels, the cracking rate of paddy and corn is greatly reduced. Hot air fully exchanges heat with grain layers without drying dead zones, delivering stable quality of dried grains. Compared with traditional dryers adopting single concurrent-flow or single counter-current technology, this unit features outstanding advantages in waste heat recovery & energy saving, grain quality preservation and long-time continuous stable operation.

Application Fields

   This concurrent & counter-flow dryer is widely applied in national grain reserve depots, grain & oil processing plants, large-scale planting cooperatives, port grain logistics centers and oil processing enterprises. It is suitable for drying corn, paddy, wheat, soybeans, sorghum, millet, rapeseed and other grain and oil crops. The equipment adopts indirect heat exchange with clean hot air, and flue gas does not come into contact with grains to ensure clean finished grains free of pollutants. Drying parameters can be flexibly adjusted to adapt to raw grains with different initial moisture and varieties. The finished grains feature uniform moisture and are not prone to heating and mildew during long-term storage after warehousing. The equipment can be arranged outdoors and can be equipped with dust removal and tail gas treatment systems to meet environmental emission requirements in various regions.
