The TGMC/TGSS Series En-Masse Scraper Conveyor is a 'live-bed' continuous conveying system developed by Zhengzhou Wangu Machinery for grain depots, grain processing enterprises, oil & grain processing plants, port terminals and industrial bulk-material scenarios. It is specially designed for efficient continuous conveying of powdery, granular and small-lump bulk materials, and can handle corn, wheat, rice, soybean, sorghum, rice husk, grain bran and bulk materials across industrial fields. Conveyed material maintains stable flow, intact kernels and zero crushing, meeting long-distance conveying and downstream process connection requirements.
The equipment adopts a sealed channel-type trough structure. Under the push of the scraper chain, material forms a continuous 'live-bed' flow inside the trough, enabling horizontal, inclined or small-angle vertical conveying. The series covers 6 models with conveying capacity of 100-1000 t/h, trough width of 320-1000mm and chain speed of 0.6-1.1m/s, covering all conveying needs from small grain depots to large port terminals. Compared with traditional open belt conveyors, this model offers sealed dust-free operation, smaller footprint, lower breakage, stronger incline adaptability and a higher degree of automation.
Conveying Technology
The equipment employs a 'live-bed' deep-drag conveying technology. After material enters the sealed trough through the inlet, the scraper chain advances material steadily at a low speed of 0.6-1.1m/s, forming a laminar 'live-bed' continuous flow with smooth, dust-free transport. Material moves in an equal-height laminar layer inside the trough, keeping relative kernel positions stable and avoiding the spillage and scattering of belt conveyors and the squeezing breakage of screw conveyors. Multi-point feeding and multi-point discharging can be configured according to process needs, enabling flexible 'one-in-multi-out' or 'multi-in-one-out' conveying layouts. The equipment is equipped with a frequency control system to adjust chain speed in real time by material flow for continuous stable transport. Compared with traditional conveying equipment, this model offers sealed dust-free operation, lower breakage, smaller footprint, lower energy consumption and a higher degree of automation.
Structural Composition
The en-masse scraper conveyor consists of the following core components:
- Sealed Trough: Made of welded carbon steel or stainless steel plate with fully sealed construction, preventing material spillage and dust emission.
- Scraper Chain: Uses bushed scraper chain structure with precision fit between pin and bushing, running smoothly with high wear resistance and low noise.
- UHMW-PE Wear Liner: Trough interior lined with ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene board, offering 7x the wear resistance of carbon steel and extending trough life by 3-5 years.
- Drive Unit: Motor and reducer combination, with optional frequency inverter for stepless speed adjustment to control conveying capacity.
- Tension Device: Adjusts chain tension to maintain stable chain and scraper operation.
- Inlet & Outlet: Supports multi-point feeding and discharging configurations for flexible process layout.
- Anti-Blocking Door: Simple and reliable anti-blocking doors on the trough side allow quick clearing of material blockage without shutdown or disassembly.
- Control System: Optional button or PLC control for fully automated conveying and variable-speed operation.
Core Advantages
| Advantage | Description |
|---|---|
| High Capacity | Conveying capacity ranges from 100‑1000 tons per hour. Six models cover all application scenarios to meet centralized and large‑scale bulk material conveying requirements. |
| Sealed & Zero Dust | The sealed trough prevents material overflow and dust dispersion. It is environmentally‑compliant and requires no additional modification. |
| Low Breakage & Material Preservation | The scraper chain operates at a low speed (0.6‑0.8 m/s), generating minimal impact on fragile materials such as rice and corn. The breakage rate is reduced by over 50%. |
| UHMW‑PE Liner for Long Wear‑Resistant Service Life | The trough is lined with UHMW‑PE panels, which are 7‑times more wear‑resistant than carbon steel. Service life is extended by 3‑5 years, cutting downtime and costs for liner replacement. |
| Compact Footprint | For the same conveying capacity, it occupies around 40% less floor space than belt conveyors. Ideal for old‑plant retrofits and space‑constrained sites. |
| Low Noise | The combination of sleeve scraper chain and wear‑resistant lining plate lowers operating noise by more than 30% compared with traditional scraper conveyors. |
Main Features
1. Fully Enclosed Structure, Zero Dust Pollution: Material travels inside a sealed trough - no spillage, no dust. Grain processing plants and port terminals stay environmentally compliant with confidence, and workers operate without dust masks.
2. Low Breakage Rate Protects Material Quality: Scraper chain pushes material at low speed (0.6-0.8m/s), minimizing impact on fragile materials like rice, corn and soybean, reducing breakage by over 50% so material retains its grade and value.
3. Wear Liner, 3-5x Longer Life: Trough interior lined with UHMW-PE board - 7x the wear resistance of carbon steel, with low friction, non-stick, corrosion resistance and impact resistance, extending trough life by 3-5 years and reducing downtime losses.
4. Bushed Scraper Chain, Smoother Operation: Advanced bushed chain structure features precision fit between pin and bushing, reducing wear and elongation. The chain runs smoother, quieter and lasts longer - as the "heart" of the scraper conveyor, a better chain means worry-free operation.
5. Anti-Blocking Door Design, 5-Minute Clearing Without Shutdown: Simple and reliable anti-blocking doors on the trough side allow quick clearing of material blockage - no shutdown, no disassembly, no specialist needed. Any operator can clear a blockage in 5 minutes.
6. Compact Structure, 40% Less Floor Space: Simple, reasonable and compact design - for the same capacity, it occupies approximately 40% less floor space than belt conveyors. Ideal for retrofits, space-constrained workshops and high-density port layouts.
7. Multi-Point Inlet/Outlet, Flexible Process Layout: Supports multi-point feeding and discharging configurations - one conveyor line can serve multiple inlets and outlets simultaneously, saving equipment investment and floor space.
Application Fields
This en-masse scraper conveyor is widely used in grain depots, grain processing enterprises, oil & grain processing plants, rice mills, flour mills, seed companies, and the power, cement, chemical, mining and building-material industries. It can convey corn, wheat, rice, soybean, sorghum, rice husk, grain bran and various industrial bulk materials.
The equipment uses sealed-trough conveying - material does not spill and dust does not fly, ensuring clean, contamination-free transport. Carbon steel or stainless steel (304/316) materials are available: carbon steel suits ordinary materials like grain, cement and ore; stainless steel suits food-grade (flour, starch, sugar), chemical-grade (corrosive materials) and humid environments (ports, rainy regions). Multi-point inlets/outlets flexibly adapt to various process layouts, with one machine achieving 'one-in-multi-out' or 'multi-in-one-out' conveying needs.
